The first African Water Week will be held in Tunis from March 26-28, 2008, as announced by the African Ministers Council on Water (AMCOW) and the African Development Bank (AfDB). The theme selected for this inaugural event is "Accelerating the Water Security for Socio-Economic Development of Africa".
