Agricultural Show 2009
FARM was at the International Agricultural Show, from the 21st February to the 1st March 2009, in Paris, Porte de Versailles. FARM’s stand will be in Hall 3 at the crossing of G and H alleys.

The stand was a meeting point for South professional organizations. Many organizations from the North and the South were present throughout the week : AVSF : Agronomists and Veterinarians Without Borders FERT : French professional agricultural organisation of international cooperation for rural development FN-CUMA : National Federation of Cooperatives of Use of Agricultural Equipment IFOCAP : Training institute for agricultural and rural actors ARID : Regional Association for Irrigation and Drainage in West Africa APROCA : Association of African Cotton Producers UGCPA / BM : Union of groups for the marketing of agricultural products in the Mouhoun’s loop, Burkina Faso CNCR : National council for farmers consultation and cooperation (Senegal)
Events
Several events took place throughout the week : Conference "Food crisis and water scarcity : challenges for the agricultural profession in Maghreb", Monday 23 February, from 9am to 5pm in Room Oceania, Hall 4 (this event will be contucted in French) "Together for agriculture in developing countries", Thursday 26 February, from 1:30pm to 3pm, stand of the French Ministry of Agriculture and Fishing, Hall 3 (this event will be contucted in French) Conference "Fruits and vegetables, food and health for the South", organized by CIRAD and its partners, Tuesday 24 February, Room Oceania, Hall 4 (this event will be contucted in French) International Symposium "Tech For Food", Wednesday 25 February, from 9am to 18pm in Room Lyra (Level 2 - Mezzanine 2) between Halls 7.2 and 7.3 (for this event, simultaneous interpretation will be available in English and French)
