Current position : Chief, Commodities and Projections Service, Commodities and Trade Division, FAO (1999).

Main functions : gives overall guidance to the Division’s trade policy work ; oversees the Division’s work on medium-term projections, including the FAO World Food Model, and modelling of agricultural trade policies ; supervises the Division’s technical assistance work in the trade policy area, including assistance relating to the WTO negotiations on agriculture ; acts as the Secretary of FAO Inter-Departmental Working Group on the Multilateral Trade Negotiations and maintains the FAO Inter-Departmental Website ( on trade policy matters.
