Innovative projects with experimental goals
FARM acts as a platform for exchange, for needs assessments and for proposals for action and policy. Although FARM’s primary missions do not include operating development projects, the Foundation does and will take part in innovative projects whose experimental nature makes validation necessary.
Such participation can take various forms : providing expertise, funding of training and studies, evaluation and dissemination of results, and other contributions. By supporting innovative projects, the Foundation is able not only to put to use the experience and know-how of its founding members but also to attach its actions much more firmly to concrete field experience in developing countries.
